PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Blackstone Hotel is one of the most enthralling historic hotels in Chicago. Since opening in 1910, the Blackstone has earned the nickname “The Hotel of Presidents” as it hosted celebrities ranging from Teddy Roosevelt, to the Vanderbuilts and Rockefellers, to Jimmy Carter. Now a Chicago Landmark, the Blackstone was redeveloped from 2006 to 2008 and is now the Renaissance Hotel. The 23-story Classical Revival Beaux-Arts architecture hotel overlooks Grant and Millennium Parks and has unobstructed view’s of Chicago’s lakefront. The restoration helped to preserve many of the original architectural details and resulted in 332 rooms, 12 suites, and 13,230 square feet of meeting space.
